Blue boy is now "Renzo" and is on his way to New York City and summers on Fire Island with a young boy as a playmate.  We already have been treated to a video of his first swim in the Ocean.

Purple girl "Gaby" is heading for her new home in Texas. She will have two Standard poodles and grandchildren to keep her busy.

Beginning last week Saturday, the puppies started to go to their new homes and a whole world of new sights, sounds, smells and sensations.  We are fortunate to have such a wonderful selection of homes for which our puppies will become a part of their families.

Green boy "Cosmo" went on his way to Tucson May 19 to a family named Green.  Chris Green is a custom jeweler in Tucson and his daughter is interested in dog sports and dog exhibiting.  We are very excited for a young person to show interest in the sport of exhibiting dogs in conformation and other activities.

Orange girl went on her way to Connecticut on Sunday, May 20.  Toni Kay-Wolf is a professional dog trainer and we have big hopes that "Tillie" will be a champion one day in the conformation ring as well as in AKC companion events.  Check out her blog on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/ToniAndTillie

A day in the life of a puppy; work and play.  Our neighbor boy helped to leash train the puppies.  Here he is with blue boy, getting him used to walking on a lead.  He eventually had the puppy walking around our dog yard on the leash.

After a hard day's work, it is time to relax and play in the pool.  Here purple girl is playing queen of the mountain.

Yellow boy and blue boy are playing pool tag and yellow boy is "it".  Blue boy is about to chase him.

Check my website for a cute photo of mom and the pups at almost 8 weeks.  Click on link at right "Puppies".  http://www.lagottoaz.com

We had an evaluation of the litter on Saturday and good friend and AKC judge Kathy Clark assisted us in deciding which puppies would be best for future breeding potential.  Here we have the boys, Blue, Green and Yellow being gone over by the judge.  Our photographer must have gotten tired as I don't have any good photos of the girls.  If I find some better photos, I will publish them.

Here is our puppy family together at the vet last week.  Heartworm tests for the adults, rabies for Vando, checkups and chiropractic for the pups.  All passed with flying colors.

Here are the boys; blue, green and yellow:

Puppies at 7 weeks.  Time goes by so quickly.  Next week the puppies start going to their new homes.  We posed the puppies in our rose bush, except for purple girl who got to pose on the porch railing.  Here are the girls;  Purple and orange:

By the time I got the girls' baths, the boys were already dirty again.  It will be interesting getting them all clean at one time for their coming out part on Saturday when we have an AKC judge and some of the new puppy families at our house for a conformation evaluation.  More about that later.  Here are the bath photos for purple and orange girls.

The first of many baths.  Here are the boys, yellow, green and blue.  They were good puppies and likely wondered what was happening, but they didn't struggle and they loved it when they got wrapped up in a big warm towel and my husband John cuddled and dried them off.  They are such good little babies.  The next bath we'll have to move them to the big dog tub, they are too big for my sink!

Finally a video of the puppies at play.  I could not load it onto the blog, so have put it on youtube.  Very amateur but shows how much fun the puppies are getting to be.  They play longer and sleep harder.  They still eat fairly often.
They just get cuter every day.  Here is the link to the video.  Enjoy!

Photos of their first baths coming soon!

We have a new toy, a slide!  Hey Mom,  purple girl is going up the wrong way.

Orange girl is going up the steps, Blue boy is down, and yellow boy is making sure everyone plays by the rules.  Green boy and purple girl are deciding who gets to go next.
We posed this one since the puppies all tend to run over to the photographer once we are down on their level.
